DELIVERY EXPECTED FOR APRIL 2026
Replica of the famous Tulle musket. The Tulle musket, often called a hunting rifle or naval rifle, is a light flintlock weapon from the 18th century produced in Tulle, France, and widely used by colonial troops and the French navy. These rifles were renowned for their versatility, capable of firing round balls, buckshot, or lead shot.
Here are the key points concerning the Tulle musket:
Use: Although initially designed as a hunting weapon, it became the standard weapon of the Compagnies Franches de la Marine in New France.
Features: Lighter and shorter than standard muskets like the Charleville, they were perfectly suited to fighting in the forest and in difficult conditions.
Production: The Tulle factory supplied these weapons mainly between 1691 and 1741, the Tulle rifle being the most used during the war of conquest, unlike the Charleville which was mainly used in France.

The touchhole of the rifle is not drilled, thus rendering the weapon unusable for easy importation and delivery into Canada. No acquisition or possession permit is required. It is also possible and permitted to drill the touchhole to allow the weapon to be fired. You will then be required to comply with the regulations governing the use of black powder.
