A faithful, functional replica of an antique gunpowder flask (or powder flask) based on the historical model. These flasks were commonly used in the 18th and 19th centuries to measure and pour powder into a firearm's barrel. The powder flask was an essential accessory for firearms users before the invention of the modern cartridge in the 19th century. They are made of brass and copper. The small nozzle at the top allows for controlled pouring of the powder.

This flask features a patriotic motif, likely an American eagle perched on a trophy of arms or an American flag. This type of design is strongly associated with models from the American Civil War era, such as the "Peace Flask" by NP Ames.
